As the Association for Social Research on the Four Generations of Rights, we organized the "Earthquake and Rights" panel with the contributions of IFEA and Galatasaray University Consortium. In the panel, we discussed how disasters can turn into catastrophes resulting in multiple human rights violations, drawing on the Hatay experience.

We held our Association's First General Assembly at our headquarters on October 30, 2024.

With the participation of Seçil Doğuç, we held our French seminar entitled “La prison : une maison des morts?” at IFEA on June 6, 2024.

In our seminar series titled “From Bourdieu to Wacquant – An Interdisciplinary Approach to Theory and Practice,” held between April 30 and May 21, 2024, we discussed the relationships between social inequality, domination, and research practice, drawing on the thought of Pierre Bourdieu and Loïc Wacquant.
