We stand with Volkan Çidam!

We consider the refusal by the Boğaziçi University Rectorate to reappoint our member and friend, Dr. Volkan Çidam, as a clear interference with academic freedoms and university autonomy, and we strongly condemn this decision.

We publicly announce our support for Dr. Volkan Çidam, who is recognized and appreciated for his academic qualifications, work, and contributions.

As colleagues and friends, we will continue to defend academic freedom and the autonomy of universities, and stand by those who fight for these values.
